About Frontier Lab
Frontier Laboratories is a Japanese organization, located at Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture. Frontier Lab was established in 1991. We are a small company by size but a market leader in Analytical Pyrolyzer Instrument industry. We call our self a Small Giant Company. We have sales and support office in Singapore, India, China, Russia, Europe and USA to take of our customers around the world. Dr Ichi Watanabe is our new President and CEO.
Meet our new CEO Dr Ichi Watanabe
Dr Ichi Watanabe San has been appointed as new President and CEO of Frontier Laboratories. He has taken over from Dr Chu Watanabe who was Founder and CEO of Frontier Lab for 30 years.
Dr Ichi obtained PhD from Nagoya Institute of Technology and 10 years of research experience in the field of Analytical Pyrolysis. He has been working as Global Marketing Manager at Frontier Lab for the past 8 years.

Offering unique analytical instruments that contribute widely to society
We are consistently doing basic research and development of analytical pyrolysis instruments and methods, and manufacturing pyrolyzers with associated accessories. We have a wide range of analytical applications that include physical property evaluation of polymer materials used in various advanced scientific fields such as quality control in aircraft and automobile industries, differentiation of rubber, paint, paper in forensic investigations, and identification of environmental pollutants such as microplastics. Polymer and Additives characterization or Analysis through evolved gas analysis, thermal desorption and flash pyrolysis are most common approach using our pyrolysis system

Pyrolyzer is not a stand alone system. It shows its power when it is combined with gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GCMS). Therefore a strong partnership with major GCMS market players are key for our success. It is helping customer a lot to solve many of their analytical challenges.
